BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. — The cows have come home at a Beaver County dairy farm that was heavily damaged by a major fire over a year ago.
Brunton’s Dairy Farm was devastated by flames in October 2023. The fire marshal said the fire was caused by an electrical mishap.

The farm’s bottling plant and cow barn were destroyed and more than a dozen cows died in the blaze. Since then, the Brunton family has worked diligently to reopen.
On Saturday, the farm announced that its dairy store was back in business. Windy Ridge Dairy Farm is providing the milk that will be sold there.
The surviving cows were also returned to their homes after being displaced for a long time. The farm said the animals were initially curious but are now settling in.
Neighboring dairy farms helped the Bruntons keep things moving forward. The cows were milked by the Craig farm before returning home.
The cows received new waterbed stalls and new robotic technology was installed to help get the ball rolling.
The Brunton family business started back in 1832.
