ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man is dead after a crash in Westmoreland County on Saturday.
The Rostraver Township Police Department says officers were called to the 800 block of Rostraver Road (Route 201) around 6:28 a.m. for reports of a person who’d been hit by a vehicle.
Officers found Darren Snyder, 52, of Monessen, down on the roadway. He was pronounced dead on scene.
Police say the driver of the vehicle that hit Snyder remained on scene and was cooperative.
The investigation is ongoing.
Rostraver Road was closed for about two hours after the crash.
