PITTSBURGH — Spring break weather continues Thursday, with temperatures quickly climbing back near 70 under a partly cloudy sky.
Friday will be even warmer, with temperatures in the low to mid-70s, so enjoy some time outdoors and head to the park or take a bike ride.
Wet weather returns for the weekend, with the off-and-on rain expected Saturday and showers in the area Sunday. There will be breaks in the rain, but there could also be some gusty storms, so check the Severe Weather Team 11 forecast before making plans.
The timing of this system could set up a threat of heavy rain and damaging wind,, prompting severe weather watches and warnings. However, widespread severe weather is not expected at this time.
