Cold temperatures could allow wet roads to refreeze Saturday morning

PITTSBURGH — Watch for slick spots on untreated surfaces Saturday as colder temperatures allow wet roads to refreeze.

High temperatures will stay below freezing through the day and the colder air could set up isolated lake effect snow bands which could bring a quick accumulation of snow and quickly change road conditions.

Low temperatures will dip into the teens and possibly single digits early Sunday before the next system brings a rebound and a mix of rain and snow.

Temperatures will warm up just a bit in time for Christmas, and it will be more wet than white for the holiday this year.
