Cold temperatures Saturday night, sunshine expected on Sunday

PITTSBURGH — Dry this evening and still cold tonight, temperatures will tumble to the lower 20s.

Make sure to grab your warm winter layers before you head out the door. Sunday morning will start with a few more clouds, temperatures will be in the low 20s with wind chills will be in the teens. Clouds and some sun are expected on Sunday, highs will rise near average again with temperatures around 40 degrees.

Clouds break for more sunshine on Monday with breezy conditions throughout the day. The winds that kick up from the southwest will help push temperatures to the upper 40s near 50 degrees.

Rain showers move in overnight to start Tuesday morning, some snow may mix in the northeast of the city but most locations will be in the mid to upper 30s. Rain showers are possible early in the day with lots of clouds Tuesday afternoon, cooler highs in the mid-40s. Warmer air follows Wednesday with more sunshine, highs will reach the low 50s before steady rain moves in on Thursday.
