PITTSBURGH — There are changes at the top coming to Primanti Bros.

Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Sports Bar has named Gerald Pulsinelli CEO, replacing Adam Golomb who first took up the position in January 2023 and had spent six years in the company’s C-Suite. Additionally, CFO Pete Chiappa is expected to retire, and a replacement has not been publicly named.

Pulsinelli is joining the company after serving as CEO of the southern chicken chain Viva Chicken.

“As a Pittsburgh icon since 1933, Primanti Bros. remains committed to building on its strong legacy and continuing to serve its loyal fans and communities,” a Primanti Bros. spokesperson said in a prepared statement. “We are pleased to welcome Gerald Pulsinelli as our new CEO. He is an exceptional restaurant executive with a dedicated focus on delivering an outstanding experience to both guests and employees.”
