ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — A Butler County woman died after she was hit by a car Monday.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the woman was walking on East Main Street (State Route 68) near Franklin Street in Evans City around 6:20 p.m. She was hit by a Ford Mustang while crossing the road.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office says the woman, June Ruff, 62, of Slippery Rock Township, died at Allegheny General Hospital later in the night.
