Investigators said they suspected a man reported missing out of Fayette County went over the side of the Interstate 68 Bridge and into the lake. The man had not been seen since he left for work last week, investigators said.

Vehicle parts were found along the bridge.

A hole was cut in the ice on the lake so divers could get in. They said they found the vehicle, with a body inside,12 feet deep.

The vehicle was towed out of the lake and put back onto the bridge.

Investigators are working to learn more. At this time, officials have not confirmed if the person found in the lake was the same person reported missing out of Fayette County. More details are expected to be released later.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
