ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — Crews battled a house fire Saturday morning in Aliquippa.

According to Beaver County dispatch, a call reporting a structure came in around 7:20am for the 1800 block of Main Street in Aliquippa.

Everyone got out of the home safely because there were working smoke detectors inside.

The City of Aliquippa Fire Chief, Timothy Firich, said that this further proves the importance of smoke detectors and urges people to make sure their detectors are working.
