PITTSBURGH — Channel 11 News has learned that Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin Kraus will run for a second term.
Kraus just filed paperwork seeking the County’s Democratic Party endorsement.
Before becoming Sheriff, Kraus served as the Chief Deputy Sheriff.
He also spent more than two decades in the Pittsburgh Police Bureau.
No other democratic candidates have filed as of yet.
