PITTSBURGH — The annual Northside Pumpkinfest returned on Saturday.
Now in its 31st year, the festival is a family favorite in Pittsburgh’s Northside, organizers say.
There were plenty of activities for kids, including a petting zoo, pony rides, hay rides, pumpkin decorating and more.
Organizers say families are at the heart of the event.
“So many times, the news on the Northside isn’t the best, and this is one of our highlights of drawing people in and just celebrating the things going on in our community,” said the Rev. Ken Turnbull, pastor of Allegheny Center Alliance Church.
In addition to the fun, the festival included a health and wellness fair to help families make positive, healthy life choices.
