2 people hospitalized after rollover crash in Forest Hills

FOREST HILLS, Pa. — A rollover crash in Forest Hills left two people injured Tuesday morning.

Allegheny County police say the call came in shortly after 12 a.m. for a crash in the 400 block of Ardmore Boulevard.

Emergency crews found a red Chevrolet Camaro flipped over with two men inside. They were taken to area hospitals, with the driver in critical condition and the passenger in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing, but police say preliminary information shows the vehicle was speeding when the driver tried to avoid a deer on the road and hit an embankment, causing the rollover.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
