2 people hospitalized after head-on crash in Washington County

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two people were injured in a crash in Washington County.

Crews were called to the 4900 block of Jefferson Avenue in Hopewell Township Thursday morning.

Investigators said two vehicles had collided head-on.

Two people were taken to local hospitals in ambulances.

An SUV was being towed from the scene when Channel 11 arrived. The car had heavy damage to its front end.

Jefferson Avenue was blocked while crews cleaned up the crash.
