GREENE COUNTY, Pa. — Police charged two Greene County men for a “chaotic” road rage incident.
Officers were called to a Carmichaels intersection for a report of a fight in progress.
They say Tyler Spacht of Mather and Scott Cottrell of Point Marian were assaulting multiple people, reportedly angry after the car behind them beeped when the stoplight turned Greene.
Cellphone video shows the two men reached into windows, throwing punches and grabbing people.
A Good Samaritan passing by tried to stop the men from assaulting an older woman, screaming at them to leave her be. Video shows the Good Samaritan then being assaulted through his window.
Police say Spacht and Cottrell were “highly intoxicated”, slurring words and smelled of alcohol.
Spacht was arrested Thursday night and police are still searching for Cottrell. It’s not clear why the men were released after they were detained that night.
