PITTSBURGH — Two people were hurt in a crash on the Parkway North Saturday afternoon.
According to PennDOT’s 511 Map, a multi-vehicle crash was reported just before 1 p.m. on northbound I-279 after the Hazlett Street on-ramp. The crash temporarily caused a lane restriction.
An Allegheny County 911 dispatcher tells Channel 11 that two people were taken to hospitals from the scene. The severity of their injuries is not currently known.
A Channel 11 photographer on scene saw a Pittsburgh police officer blocking the Hazlett Street on-ramp while there was a significant traffic backup.
