PITTSBURGH — A portion of the Fort Pitt Bridge was closed Monday morning after a car carrier hit the barrier on the right side coming from the North Shore.
The ramp from the Fort Duquesne Bridge to the Fort Pitt Bridge was closed to traffic, as well as the ramp from Liberty Avenue to the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Everything reopened after PennDOT cleared and inspected the bridge.
