Sun returns with nice temperatures on Sunday

PITTSBURGH — Clouds, fog, and mist will clear this evening. Temperatures will tumble to the mid-40s tonight.

There will be a chilly start Sunday, you’ll need a jacket if you are heading out early. Expect a bright and pleasant end to the weekend; temperatures will reach the low to mid-70s. Sunday is the start of a sunny and dry stretch for the Pittsburgh area. Make sure to keep your sunglasses handy and apply sunscreen if you have outdoor plans this week.

Expect a brief warming trend, highs will reach the upper 70s near 80 degrees on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures return back to average for the remainder of the work week.
