Pleasant evening on Saturday, rain possible Monday

PITTSBURGH — Saturday will have a nice evening for a walk or run. Clouds will increase overnight ahead of the next system that will impact the area Monday.

Grab your umbrella before you head out the door in the morning, you’ll need it as the morning wears on.

It will be mostly dry for the early morning commute; rain will develop after 9:30 and continue into the early afternoon hours. Rain will then taper to showers with the bulk of the wet weather tracking east by mid-afternoon. However, leftover showers may still linger in spots into the evening.

Colder air will settle in overnight into Tuesday with the chance of a few sprinkles or snow flurries Tuesday, temperature will only reach the mid to upper 40s.

Expect a dry stretch then Wednesday and Thursday, highs will rise back to the 50s. Much warmer Friday with rain, winds pick up and stronger winds are expected to start the next weekend.
