Clouds increase overnight, thunderstorms possible Sunday afternoon

PITTSBURGH — Beautiful weather kicked off the weekend, we hit the mid-70s today! Fantastic weather this evening for enjoying time outdoors. Clouds will increase with mild temperatures overnight; lows will fall to the lower 50s and upper 40s.

Sunday morning will start cool with clouds and for those who are running The Pittsburgh Marathon you may see a stray shower around sunrise but the best chance for rain, and some thunder will come mainly after 11AM. A thunderstorm could also develop bringing gusty winds and brief downpours. Sunday will not be a wash out but the chance for rain, and a storm will be right around midday.

The next week will start mild, but it will be unsettled once again. Monday will start with clouds and a few spotty showers; some clearing is expected as temperatures warm up in the afternoon. Rain, and a few storms could impact your Monday evening plans so check back for updates.
