Fall sunshine and rising temperatures before chilly night and fog

PITTSBURGH — It will be a fabulous fall afternoon with plenty of sunshine and temperatures rising to the 70-degree mark. However, a clear sky tonight will allow lows to tumble to the 40s once again with areas of fog developing for the morning commute. Thursday will start chilly, but it will also be another pleasant day with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s.

Don’t expect these warm afternoons to stick around, a big weather change moves in Friday and brings a chill to the weekend! Showers Friday morning will leave cloudy skies and falling temperatures for the second half of the day. It will be chilly with highs in the 50s Friday through Sunday. Low temperatures in the 30s could lead to frost across much of the area.
