Steady rain overnight, dark skies continue Sunday

PITTSBURGH — Overcast with a few showers around this evening, steadier rain picks back up later tonight. Keep the umbrella handy, you may need it off and on later this evening. Rain will be widespread overnight and track into our eastern counties by sunrise.

Sunday will be cloudy with rain showers mostly in the morning. The bulk of the rain will fall east of Pittsburgh through the day and fill back in across the entire viewing area in the evening and some isolated thunder is possible. Much colder air will follow at night with rain into Monday morning.

Monday will be cold, breezy and soggy with showers around. Late in the evening snow showers could mix in around I-80 and in the ridges.

The chilly conditions will stick around through Wednesday with lingering showers.
